| BkI:13.VI.2 | Those who try to find meaning in pain are trapped by it. Pain does not make sense simply because it is not part of what God is. Christ does not suffer and never has suffered. God does not know suffering. If He knew it, it would be eternal and infinite. But precisely because He knows nothing of suffering, you can never identify with Him in pain, which is why you can let go of suffering and let the house of cards collapse. Simply blow gently on it and you will see how it silently falls apart. The wind of love will take it away, never to return. |
