Likewise it happens every time you feel that someone or something is possessing you or trying to possess you. This is because the desire to own begets fear in two different ways: The desire to possess material things comes from the desire to possess a beloved object; and when one seeks to possess something beloved, we must conclude that one seeks to retain love. |
