| BkV:17.IV.4 | When you do something in order to get something in return, you act from an egocentric mental pattern. Love seeks nothing in return. It does not understand the reasoning of benefits. Love is what it is without expectation. It simply gathers within itself all that is true and extends it eternally within the beauty of God's heart, which is where its sweetness dwells. Love has no rules since it is its own law. It does not compete because it knows that nothing outside of itself is real. |
