A split mind prevails among those who have not yet recognized that the ego is gone. One is mindful of the passing life of time, the other of the eternal life of God. Although this split between the dimension of time and that of eternity is unreal, for those still enmeshed in the idea of duality, dwelling in one or the other makes all the difference. |
